Important notes

  • Participants aged 10 to 50, physically and mentally healthy: the trip involves heavy physical activity, including trekking on a slippery and steep path to the waterfall. Outside that age range, book a private trip.
  • The car used is an Innova.
  • Two participants share one room. Rooms are arranged by the number of registered men and women so every participant gets a room.
  • The trip starts at 12.00 WITA. Pick-up is on day one between 11.00 and 12.00 WITA at Tambolaka Airport (TMC) or a hotel in Southwest Sumba.
  • The trip ends at 11.00 WITA at Umbu Mehang Kunda Airport, Waingapu. You may leave early.
  • The itinerary can change depending on conditions at the destination.
  • The itinerary can change due to force majeure.
  • Participants must follow the tour leader's direction during the trip.

The trekking trails range from moderate to strenuous. Prepare physically before the trip, avoid overexerting yourself, and wear trekking sandals (sold at outdoor equipment stores) for a safer, slip-free walk.

Does the file copy have to be on a hard disk?

Yes. The files are copied in full and are quite large, so a flash drive would be very slow. File transfers usually happen on day 3 of the trip.
