How to Book

Four steps from date to departure.

  • Choose date

    Pick your dates. Open trips follow the 2026 schedule; private trips depend on accommodation availability.

  • Book tour

    Message +62 811-994-1919 on WhatsApp with your trip and group size.

  • Payment

    Pay a down payment of at least 50%, and the balance no later than 14 days before departure.

  • Vacation

    Meet at Tambolaka Airport (TMC) for the 12.00 WITA start.

  • Balance: 14 days before departure

    Pay the rest no later than 14 days before the trip.

  • Late booking: 100%

    Registering less than 14 days before the trip means paying in full.

Terms

Reservation, terms, cancellation and responsibility.

Reservation (8)

  1. Private trips run with a minimum of 2 participants. Open trip departures are confirmed once the minimum quota of 4 participants is reached.
  2. Choose your date, as long as accommodation is still available.
  3. Payment is made in 2 stages: a down payment of at least 50%, and the balance no later than 14 days before departure.
  4. Registering less than 14 days before the trip requires full payment of 100%.
  5. Confirm payment on WhatsApp at +62 811-994-1919 by sending the transfer receipt and participant details: names and ages, contact number, number of participants, pick-up location and drop-off location.
  6. Registration is open at any time, depending on accommodation availability.
  7. IndonesiaJuara Trip provides documentation. Each participant agrees to be filmed and photographed during the trip, and IndonesiaJuara Trip may use it for social media promotion. If you do not want your photos posted, tell the admin on WhatsApp.
  8. By registering, participants are deemed to understand and agree to the terms and conditions.

Terms and conditions (16)

  1. This trip involves a lot of physical activity. Please make sure you stay fit.
  2. All participants must follow the rules of each destination and the guide.
  3. Illegal drugs, narcotics, firearms and objects that can harm yourself or others under Indonesian law are prohibited.
  4. At the trip location, participants help each other and keep the group together.
  5. Littering and any action that damages nature are strictly forbidden.
  6. Actions that damage trip facilities or documentation equipment are strictly prohibited.
  7. Participants with a history of asthma, hypertension, heart disease, acute gastritis, diabetes, epilepsy, sinusitis or similar conditions should consult a doctor and must bring personal medicines.
  8. Bring enough changes of clothes.
  9. Trekking shoes or trekking sandals are required.
  10. A water-resistant daypack is advised.
  11. Sumba is quite hot: bring a hat, sunglasses and sunblock.
  12. Telkomsel is the provider with good coverage in Sumba.
  13. Bring a power bank.
  14. Bring a hard disk, not a flash drive, to copy the documentation files, which usually run over 32GB. Files are copied on day 3 of the trip.
  15. IndonesiaJuara Trip provides documentation; each participant agrees to be recorded and photographed, and the footage may be used for social media promotion.
  16. Safety comes first: if the weather turns unfavourable, part of the itinerary will be changed for the safety of participants.

Cancellation (3)

  1. If a participant cancels, the down payment is forfeited: no refund, no moving to another trip and no date change. You can find a replacement participant (change of name).
  2. Cancellations due to force majeure (natural disasters, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations and other circumstances beyond anyone's control) mean the trip can be changed or cancelled, with no refund for unused facilities.
  3. A participant who arrives late at the meeting point and delays the itinerary is deemed to have withdrawn, with no refund.

Responsibility (4)

  1. IndonesiaJuara Trip is not liable for flight schedule changes or cancellations, or baggage damage, loss or delay by airlines, hotels or other transport providers; nor for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or itinerary changes due to force majeure.
  2. Participants are responsible for any loss of or damage to trip facilities and will be charged the price of the item.
  3. Participants must follow the tour leader's instructions and may not make unilateral decisions without agreement.
  4. A participant found with illegal drugs, or causing disturbance to other participants, can be removed or sent back with no refund.
